We encourage all of our customers to ask questions!

Q:  How much are your cakes?

A:  Each cake is priced individually depending on the design.  Prices range from $2.50-$8.00 a serving.  Our cupCAKEs start at $2.50 each.

Q:  Do you deliver?

A:  Yes, we do deliver.  We have driven as far as Quebec with a wedding cake!  Delivery charges will apply if your wedding is taking place outside of Barrie.  If your wedding is located in Barrie there may be a small fee if pick up of equipment is necessary when your event is finished.   

Q:  Do you ship your cakes?

A:  Due to the delicate nature of our cakes, we cannot ship them.  

Q:  Is it possible for me to pick up my own wedding cake?

A:  It is possible for you to pick up your wedding cake, however we recommend against it!  Once it is out of our hands it is your responsibility, so to ensure your cake arrives and is set up perfectly, we suggest having it delivered (especially if it is a tiered design!) by us.

Q:  When is payment due?

A:  50% of your order is due upon booking.  This 50% is a non-refundable deposit to hold your wedding date.  After our consultation we hold your date for 1 week without a deposit.  If you have not decided after 1 week if you would like to proceed with the order, your date will no longer be held.  If within that week you decide to go ahead with booking, we will require the 50% deposit at that time.  The remaining 50% will be due 3 weeks prior your wedding. Your order is not confirmed until we have received a signed contract and your 50% deposit.

Q:  What forms of payment do you accept?

A:  We accept cash, personal cheque, visa, mastercard & debit.

Q:  What should I bring to my consultation?

A:  During your consultation we will discuss what is important to you. To help us create the wedding cake of your dreams, we need to learn a little bit about you and your wedding day. 

Details such as location, season, colours, catering, theme, fabric and flowers should be considered when creating the perfect design. Anything that you can think of that will help in the process such as fabric swatches, pictures of cakes you like from magazines, books or online, wedding menu, pictures of your wedding location, layout of reception area etc. will ensure your cake is unique to you and your wedding day.  Please come prepared on the day of your consultation to maximize the time we have together. Each consultation runs approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

Q:  How far in advance should I order my wedding cake?

A:  We recommend ordering your cake 2-6 months before your big day.  Our weekends fill up quickly so if you have a design in mind, sooner than later is better!

Q:  Do you have a storefront?

A:  YES!!  The first cupCAKE location is open for business!  Visit us at the corner of Minet's Pt and Yonge (across from Giant Tiger) in Barrie!

Q:  I would like to franchaise cupCAKE...may I do so?

A:  We have been thinking very hard about this and are interested in doing so!  Please email us at info@iwannacupcake.com and we will do our best to answer your franchaising question!

Q:  Do you rent fake cakes/cupcake stands?

A:  Yes.  We have a number of wedding cakes that can be rented out for your event at a cost of $50.00-$100.00 (a credit card will be required at time of booking and if the cake isn't returned within 3 days your card will incur a charge of $100.00) We have a 3 tiered cupcake stand that can be rented for $50.00 (a credit card will be required at the time of booking and if the stand isn't returned within 3 days your card will be charged $250.00).  For a fee, the cupcake stand can be picked up at the end of your event or if can be returned by you within 3 days of your event.
